The Bag ’n Hand Food Pantry is an outreach ministry operated by volunteers. We partner with The Food Depot of Santa Fe and are one of the largest USDA commodities food pantries in northern New Mexico.

Volunteers distribute fresh produce and other groceries every Tuesday from 11 am to 12:30 pm and from 5 pm to 6:30 pm.

Most weeks, we serve more than 270 households that represent about 20% of the total number of households registered to receive food.

The morning distribution uses a drive-through method with volunteers putting boxes in cars in St. John’s north parking lot off East Barcelona Road. The afternoon distribution is indoors and clients can are able to choose from cans, produce, and other items.
